Warranty: 

Southard Knives are Guaranteed for life.  Should your knife fail at any time due to faulty workmanship or materials, such defects will be made good, at Southard Knives cost.  This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by neglect or lack of necessary user maintenance, disassembly or end user modification of the edged tool.  

Shipping:
Southard Knives ships orders Monday through Friday. Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. Normally orders placed before noon ship that same day or next business day.

Payment Methods:


Credit cards

We accept most major credit cards for payment. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Our site uses a secure server and all data is transmitted encrypted. All credit card information is automatically deleted from the secure server every 14 days. Using your credit card is safe and secure at Southard Knives. Your order is charged at the time it is placed. If any items are out of stock, we will issue a refund the next business day.

Payment by mail (Check or Money Order):

You can place an order through our site and select to pay by mail with check or money order. Your items are pulled and held until funds arrive.


You have 7 days from the date of placing the order for the funds to reach us. If funds are not received within one week, we cancel the order and return the items to stock.

Any check that is returned unpaid (i.e. a bounced check) is subject to a $25 fee in addition to the original amount of the check and must be paid in certified funds. If a bounced check and fee remain unpaid, we will report it to the national check verification company that we use.

Privacy:

Southard Knives will NEVER sell or give out any of your personal information to any other company or service. The information you send to Southard Knives is kept on an encrypted secure server.  We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited.

Military, Law Enforcement, EMS Discount:

Southard Knives is proud to serve those you put it on the line all over the globe. We offer a discount program for active duty military, law enforcement, and EMS personnel. Due to some pretenders, we need verification of credentials in order to establish your discount account. You can send a copy of your ID or creds to info@southardknives.com and we can set up the discount for your order.

Purchasing Policy: 

By purchasing from Southard Knives and Tools LLC, the buyer assumes the full and complete responsibility of having ascertained, and complied with all applicable local, state, federal and international laws with regard to the possession and use of any item purchased from Southard Knives and Tools LLC.  Review your local municipal and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. ABSOLUTELY NO SALES TO MINORS. The buyer represents that products ordered would be used in a lawful manner and that he/she is of legal age.  Southard Knives and Tools LLC. will not be held liable for the misuse of any product.

Return Policy:

We believe you will be thrilled with the products you purchase from Southard Knives.  We take every effort, and spare no expense to bring you the best gear we can possibly make, if it doesn’t meet our specs and standards, you can believe its not going to leave our shop.  We understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we do have a full-refund-no-questions-asked policy.  Sometimes you are fully pleased with your purchase, but one small detail is causing a bit of annoyance.  Let us know!  We are a small shop, we make mistakes, and we would love the opportunity to correct that mistake, and get the item back to you, the way you want it.  You may return your product in mint condition, with any included accessory, with its original receipt (or gift receipt), within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

 

Steps to starting a return

  1. Request an RA # (return authorization number) by emailing info@southardknives.com with your full name, order number, item you are returning, and reason for the return.
  2. All returns MUST have a Return Authorization from Southard Knives prior to being sent back.
  3. Include a copy of your original invoice
  4. Send returns to

Things to note on returns:

– All items must be returned in the same condition as they were received. This means if you carry a knife or cut stuff with it, it is yours.

– You are responsible for the knife until it reaches us, so please send insured and packed well.

– Please allow 5-7 business days for us to process your return. You will be issued a refund for the cost of the item minus original shipping charges. If your order qualified for a free shipping deal, then you will receive the full refund.

-Returns are subject to a %10 restocking fee.  We fully understand that sometimes you just aren’t satisfied with product.  In that case, a full refund is no problem, we want you to be pleased with your purchase.  However, sometimes people purchase items that they couldn’t afford, and after receiving the item get indecisive, or scared when the credit card bill comes due.  We are a small business, and all of those cost us labor and time.
